Barbell Decline Wide-grip Press

This is a chest exercise done on a bench that slopes downward. You use a barbell and hold it with your hands far apart. It focuses on the bottom part of your chest muscles and also works your shoulders and the back of your arms.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on the downward-sloping bench and hook your feet under the pads so you do not slide.
  2. 2Hold the bar with your hands placed wider than your shoulders.
  3. 3Lower the bar slowly down to your chest while keeping your elbows pointing outward.
  4. 4Push the bar back up until your arms are completely straight.
  5. 5Repeat these movements for your set.
